This groovy floral mural was hand painted by Chicago-based artist CJ Hungerman as part of Art Infusion 2021. It is located high on the back of Olde Town Mall, and can be seen from either side of Town Square, as well as the Court Street bridge. It incorporates flowers native to southern Wisconsin. The artist wants the mural to remind viewers of their childhood, with bright colors and flowers anyone can relate to.
CJ has created many public art projects in Chicago and throughout the United States. His most notable piece of public art, funded by the Mayor's office & the City of Chicago, is a 500 square foot original artwork he conceived and created for the new Chinatown Library in Chicago. That project granted him inclusion in the historic art collection owned by the city with all the famous artists that have done major art pieces for the city of Chicago.
