This Wisconsin Historical Society marker #93 is located at a highway pull off on the southbound side of N Riverside Dr (US Hwy 51), across from the entrance to Blackhawk Technical College. It commemorates two separate times Lincoln passed this way, first as part of the Illinois militia during the Black Hawk War, and again on his way to Janesville as a guest of William Tallman after delivering a political address in Beloit.
