Located at the site of Janesville's Corn Exchange, the Spirit of the American Doughboy is a pressed copper sculpture by E. M. Viquesney that was mass produced for communities throughout the United States in the 1920s and 30s, with about 140 sculptures remaining. It was presented to the city of Janesville by the Lions Club in honor of the men and women who served in WWI, and includes the names of those who served.
