Snowshoeing

Don't let a little snow stop you from getting out and seeing nature. While snowshoeing is allowed in any City park and greenbelt, there are several areas in Janesville that are ideal, including:
Riverside Golf Course (2200 Parkside Drive)
Rockport Park (2801 Rockport Rd) - six miles of diverse, color coded cross country ski trails. Use Rockport Rd entrance. Click here to download a trail map, or click here to open an interactive GPS map.
Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum (3550 W. Cty Hwy A) - wooded trails and open areas, some steeper hills
Blackhawk Golf Course (2100 Palmer Drive)
Sheiffer Park (3600 Wright Road) - mix of wooded and open areas, no dedicated parking
