Janesville's new Town Square offers stepped seating with access to a floating dock on the Rock River, the J.P. Cullen Memorial Pavilion, and an interactive water feature sculpture called The Bubbler on the west side of the river. Connected by the Blain Gilbertson Family Heritage Bridge featuring the Resilience sculpture, the east side includes the Cope Ryan Pavilion and Town Square Donor Wall, activity deck, kiosk, fire table, promenade seating and other stone seating areas. The west side Festival Street, sponsored by Blackhawk Community Credit Union, and Water Street on the east side can be closed for events with street bollards to protect pedestrians.
Both streets have gateway features at each end, with decorative and bollard lighting along the walkways. WiFi is available. This beautiful riverfront outdoor space is located in the heart of Downtown Janesville, with three parking lots and a 240 stall parking ramp within one block, and an additional eight parking lots within three blocks.
