Pistons & Props Air & Car Show

Pistons and Props is a celebration of vintage aircraft, classic cars, and children's education, honoring those who served by bringing together the best of aviation and motor vehicles. Explore static displays, participate in interactive exhibits, and marvel at the engineering achievements of yesteryear. New to the event this year will be the Salute to Veterans, held on Friday night in partnership with various local Veterans groups and featuring airplane rides, live music, a motorcycle show, a hot air balloon glow, and food and drinks.

This year also features The B-29 Doc History Restored Tour. See the B-29 Doc, one of only two remaining airworthy B-29 Superfortresses in the world, and one of 1,644 B-29 bombers built by the Boeing Company in Wichita, KS, during World War II. Ride flight participants will experience the thrill of soaring through the skies in one of the most iconic bombers of World War II. Cockpit tours will allow guests to step inside the aircraft and get an up-close look at its intricate controls and systems. Learn more about the B-29 Doc at b29doc.com. Tickets for ride flights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are now available and can be purchased through the Pistons & Props website. Early booking is highly recommended, as availability is limited.

On Saturday, keep an eye on the sky as ride aircraft come and go and catch flyovers from the Red Star Group. Explore the airplane displays and the car show, and visit the large children's area. Kids can enjoy games and activities, including bounce houses, and an education tent that will feature displays and hands-on activities from local groups and non-profits. Food and drink will be available for purchase with live music performances throughout the day.

There is no fee for parking. The rain date is Sunday, July 20.
