Pistons & Props Air & Car Show

Pistons and Props is a two-day celebration of aviation, automobiles, and community - bringing together vintage warbirds, classic cars, and hands-on educational experiences for all ages. This unique event honors our nation's veterans while showcasing the engineering marvels of both the skies and the roads.

Friday - Veterans Night (5-9 PM)

A new highlight this year is the Salute to Veterans, hosted in partnership with local veterans organizations. Veterans receive free admission and parking for this powerful evening of remembrance and celebration.
Friday evening features:

• REMAX Skydiving Team jump during the National Anthem
• Missing man formation flyover tribute
• Hot air balloon glow and tethered balloon rides
• Live music by End Flight Scene
• Fireworks finale
• Motorcycle show, food trucks, beer garden & more

Saturday - Family Day (9 AM-5 PM)

Saturday is packed with aviation, classic cars, education, and family fun. Enjoy interactive STEM exhibits, a full Kids Zone sponsored by CCI, live music, and great food - plus thrilling flyovers and ride aircraft.
Saturday highlights include:

• Red Star Pilot Association flyover at 12
• Car & motorcycle show starting at 9 AM
• Awards voting 1-3 PM, ceremony at 3:30 PM
• Live music:
  • Cash Box Kings, 10 AM-12 PM
  • SuperTuesday, 1-3:30 PM
    
• Kids Zone: bounce houses, rocketry, crafts, STEM demos, and more
• Food, vendors, and beer garden

Aircraft Lineup Includes:

• B-29 Superfortress “Doc” - Flights & cockpit tours
• P-51 Mustang “Red Nose” - Rides available
• SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber “Speedy D” - Rides available
• C-47 “That’s All, Brother” - Lead aircraft from D-day Normandy
• C-47 “Spooky”
• WASP aircraft and multiple WWII-era T-6s and T-28s
• Numerous fly-in aircraft on display

There is no fee for parking on Friday. Saturday parking is $5. The rain date is Sunday, July 20.
Hours are Friday, July 18 from 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturday, July 19 from 9 AM to 5 PM.
