Organized Shuffleboard Play

Make your way to beautiful Riverside Park this summer and play a game of outdoor shuffleboard. Shuffleboard is a game where players use cues to push weighted pucks down a narrow court and into a marked scoring area. The sport provides a perfect leisurely activity for those looking to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather. In partnership with the City of Janesville Recreation Division, the Friends of Riverside Park offers organized shuffleboard play from June through September.  Planned play times are scheduled weekly on Monday evenings from 6 to 7 PM and Tuesday mornings from 9 to 10 AM. Organized play is dependent on daylight, weather, and participation. During these playtimes, a shuffleboard facilitator will be on hand to help explain the rules and facilitate gameplay.  Players of all skill levels are encouraged and equipment is provided. No registration is required.
