This annual walk-through event transforms Rotary Botanical Gardens into a winter wonderland, with dazzling displays of over 1.6 million twinkling lights illuminating the gardens in brilliant colors. Stroll through festive scenes, enchanting tunnels, and sparkling decorations that will leave you in awe. Stop by the Comfort Station for a sweet treat like hot cocoa or a frosted sugar cookie. The Holiday Light Show is a must-see this season.

Holiday Tree Show
Step into a world of historic wonder at the Holiday Tree Show inside the Lincoln-Tallman Museum! This Italianate-style mansion built in 1857 sparkles with more than 140 uniquely themed trees, showcasing the creativity of local businesses, community groups, and families. With more than 50,000 lights, each room has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated to be explored on self-guided tours. Head to the lounge in the lower level of the museum to enjoy a beverage and extra holiday cheer. Come and experience a cozy, nostalgic celebration that will leave you in the holiday spirit!
Janesville’s Jolly Jingle
Experience the merriness of Janesville’s Jolly Jingle on December 6-8! With more than 30 free or low-cost events, the weekend’s lineup of events adds an extra glow of dazzling lights to the city, from the breathtaking holiday fireworks over the Rock River and the magical downtown Holiday Lighted Parade to the community tree lighting and Luminary Walk to festive shopping and dining experiences throughout downtown.
Victorian Holiday Open House
Take a trip back in time and tour a historic 1896 Victorian home with its halls fully decked. Discover over 20 uniquely decorated Christmas trees, an immersive room-sized Christmas village display, a North Pole display with Santa’s Village, and vintage decor throughout. Owned and decorated by owners Mike & Tom, this private home is open for tours on December 13, 14, 20, 21, 22, 26, and 27. The tours are free, but donations to Friends of Noah, an animal rescue nonprofit, are very much appreciated.
Striegel Light Show
Now in their 18th year, the Striegel home is decorated with more than 20,000 lights synchronized to music. Tune your radio to 90.9FM to listen in your warm car as the lights outside twinkle to the music. The show is free, but they do accept donations for the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
